A man going for a late night motorcycle ride suffered serious but not life threatening wounds after encountering a raccoon. Authorities report that on Thursday night, shortly after midnight, Shawn Consla of Townville hit a raccoon that scurried into his path. The collision caused his bike to fall onto its left side and slide about 90 feet until colliding with a guardrail.

 

PennDOT’s District 1 work schedules for the week of July 13th include the continuance of lane restrictions on Interstate 80 around the 376 overpass in Mercer County. District 1 includes  Crawford, Erie, Forest, Mercer, Venango, and Warren Counties and its maintenance schedule can be found at PennDOT.gov/district1.

 

The Pennsylvania Milk Marketing Board has issued at least four bonds against the Dean Foods estate, citing failure to make payments to farmers for their milk shipments. Kansas City based Dean Foods allegedly failed to pay, or underpaid, dairy farmers for their product for the first four months of 2020; prior to their acquisition by Dairy Farmers of America in May.
