Tomorrow marks one week since Pennsylvania’s Secretary of Health Dr. Rachel Levine updated her mask wearing orders to include everyone in all indoor and outdoor public spaces. Yesterday, Governor Tom Wolf continued to make the case for mask wearing by saying it is the single simplest and most effective thing someone can do to prevent the spread of COVID-19 while in public and discussed a Texas A&M led study on the subject. Many US States are seeing record high increases in COVID-19 cases while Pennsylvania more or less holds steady at about ¼ of its single worst day on April 9th despite record testing. The Pennsylvania Department of Health reports 78% of the 90,304 confirmed infected individuals have recovered and 6,754 individuals have died.
