Edinboro University plans to open its campus for the fall semester. The school opens its fall semester a little earlier this year on Monday August 17th, with students moving in over the week of August 10th. The university plans to have students returned home by Thanksgiving and finals to be completed remotely online. Representative Daryl Metcalfe of Butler County has introduced a resolution of impeachment against Governor Tom Wolf. Metcalfe and 24 other republicans in the state’s house of representatives have signed on as sponsors to the resolution which they say is in response to the governor’s handling of COVID-19. Metcalfe claims the governor’s response hurt more people than the virus has. Bill Patton, spokesman for the House Democratic caucus, is calling it a circus show and Governor Wolf has yet to respond as of the time of this reporting. Pennsylvania is now performing about 12,000 tests for COVID-19 every day and is among the states with the lowest rate of new cases.
