The Pennsylvania State Police based in Corry are on the lookout for a stolen trailer. The trailer is of bright aluminum construction with a drop style tailgate and a missing tail light cover. The Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry is holding a virtual town hall meeting tomorrow to discuss the issues faced with unemployment compensation during the COVID-19 pandemic. Faced with more than 2.6 million claims since March it’s been difficult for the department to keep up with demands, even after an 80% increase in staff since the pandemic began. The meeting can be live streamed starting at 1PM tomorrow by visiting access.live/PAlabor.

 

Criminal charges have been filed by the state of Pennsylvania against Cabot Oil of Houston Texas after a grand jury determined there was enough evidence to show the company allowed methane gas from their Marcellus Shale fracking operations to leech into the drinking water of the town of Dimock.
