19 year old Jake Dwyer of Auburn New York is in custody and awaiting extradition to Venango County to face charges after allegedly sending lewd pictures and threats to a 14 year old girl in the town of Franklin. Dwyer faces charges of corruption of minors, terroristic threats, and harassment after Franklin PD say he sent lewd pictures of himself to the teen over social media and then threatened to kill her and her mother if she reported him. The girl and her mother reported him.

 

In Harrisburg Pennsylvania’s House and Senate both passed a resolution yesterday to override Governor Tom Wolf’s COVID-19 Emergency Declaration in a move that will likely start a court battle between the legislative and the executive branches of the state government. The resolution orders Governor Tom Wolf to end the executive order that was renewed earlier this month, something the governor is not inclined to do. Both the General Assembly and Governor’s Office have already begun citing the state’s laws and constitution to defend their positions.
