In an online press release yesterday it was announced that Edinboro University is the first university in Pennsylvania to be awarded both initial and advanced accreditation by the Council for the Accreditation of Education Preparation. The CAEP is the only independent organization recognized as an accreditor for education standards around the entire country; it peer reviews collegiate and university level education programs to assure quality and promote improvement. Both the university’s bachelor’s and master’s programs were accredited.
Property Tax and Rent Rebate benefits for senior and disabled residents of Pennsylvania are being released more than a month early this year because of COVID-19. According to Governor Tom Wolf the tax and rent rebates of up to $975 will start to be sent out this week which is six weeks ahead of their usual July 1st issue date. Property Tax and Rent Rebate benefits are paid through proceeds from the Pennsylvania Lottery.
