Lawmakers in Pennsylvania are looking forward and attempting to draw up plans for getting the state back to business. Pennsylvania’s house of representatives passed two new bills yesterday, the first is Senate Bill 613 which was passed with amendments seeking to add new industries to the list of essential businesses; the second is House Bill 1189 which passed unanimously and seeks to protect people furloughed or on sick leave from losing their job among other measures. Meanwhile Governor Tom Wolf announced that he and governors of six other northeastern states are forming a joint task force to help determine the right time to safely reopen states.
