Automated workzone speed enforcement is now in full effect in the state of Pennsylvania. In order to make work zones safer for motorists and PennDOT employees and contractors; a new vehicle mounted system will track the speeds of motorists as they travel through work zones on roads and highways. Speed violations can net warnings or fines of up to $150.

 

Allegheny College in Meadville is holding a Townhall Meeting to help educate the general public about the COVID-19 coronavirus today. The meeting will feature public health, collegiate, and medical officials who will provide general and up to date information on COVID-19 and answer questions from the audience. The meeting takes place at Quigley 101 starting at 12:30 this afternoon. As of 8:45PM last night the Pennsylvania Department of Health was tracking 10 possible corona cases, the majority of which are in Montgomery County.
