A Grove City man is facing criminal charges after being seriously injured during a crash in Mercer County’s Pine Township. Richard Rorher was taken to Grove City Hospital on March 3rd after a head on collision at the intersection of North Broad Street Extension and Bell Road. Crash scene investigators determined Rorher was at fault for the accident, not using a seatbelt, and driving under a suspended license due to prior driving related offenses.
At the direction of Attorney General Josh Shapiro the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania has filed a lawsuit against the home warranty company Total Home Protection. The suit alleges hundreds of incidents of the company refusing to make good on promised reimbursements covered under their policies and seeks full restitution for victims. The company is owned by the same family which runs Delta Auto Protect which was sued by the state for similar reasons last month.
