20 year old Tyler Ordiway of Warren was arraigned yesterday on charges stemming from sexual contact he allegedly made with a minor. Ordiway has been charged with multiple crimes involving sexual assault, statutory sexual assault, and possessing child pornography all in relation to the same 15 year old girl. He currently resides in Warren County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bail.

PennDOT will begin major construction work on Route 8 in Venango County. The nearly $33 million project begins on Monday March 16th with work on Old Route 8 and will see the eventual reconstruction of 12 miles of roadway between Melvin Road in Irwin Township to Polk Cutoff Road in Sandycreek Township and will include repairs to seven bridges along the way. Work is anticipated to take two construction seasons.

In State News, the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture has added 12 new counties to the spotted lanternfly quarantine zone. The zone has extended to Allegheny, Beaver, Blair, Columbia, Cumberland,Huntingdon, Juniata, Luzerne, Miffflin, Northumberland, Perry and York counties.
