One man lost his life after a fatal car crash on Interstate 80 in Mercer County. Investigators say Martin Puchalksi of Mount Carmel was not wearing a seatbelt when he lost control of his Toyota Tundra while travelling west through Lackawannock Township and collided with a culvert a little after 4:30PM yesterday afternoon. He was pronounced dead at an area hospital.

An unidentified 26 year old woman will be facing charges for possession of drug paraphernalia, possessing a firearm while under probation, and endangering the welfare of two infant children from authorities in Venango County. A handgun and the drug paraphernalia were allegedly discovered out in the open during a check in with her probation officer and all charges are pending the results of testing of the seized items.

Universities and colleges in Pennsylvania are recalling students who are studying abroad due to concerns about the latest coronavirus outbreaks. Penn State University is attempting to recall all of its students and staff members who are currently visiting Italy, meanwhile, closer to home, Slippery Rock University has cancelled all of its study abroad trips to any country planned for this spring.
