New criminal charges have been filed against a Sugarcreek man who crashed his vehicle into a utility pole earlier this month and injured a five year old boy. After wrapping up an investigation into the crash the Sugarcreek PD has charged 38 year old Richard Freeman with reckless driving, endangering the welfare of children, and DUI with a schedule II narcotic. Police allege he was under the influence of methamphetamine. 

PennDOT is announcing new hours for its Driver’s License and Photo Center located in the town of Mercer. The center will now be open five days a week, starting today. The new hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:30AM to 4:15PM, and until 6PM on Thursday.
