A New Bethlehem man named Colton Mohney suffered severe injuries after a single car collision in Clarion County’s Porter Township. Authorities say the 21 year old was not wearing a seatbelt when he collided with a tree after failing to negotiate a turn on Saint Charles Road shortly after 4:30AM Monday morning.

The Pennsylvania State Police based in Franklin have come into the possession of a gun safe that was located in the vicinity of Bredinsburg Road in Cranberry Township. The safe was recovered Monday afternoon and had no contents inside; it appears to have been forced open. Anyone with information about the safe or its contents is being asked to please call the Franklin State Police at (814)676-6596.

Pennsylvania’s Department of Conservation and Natural Resources has revealed plans to nearly double the number of pet friendly state parks across the commonwealth. Secretary Cindy Adams-Dunn is getting the word out that in 2021 50 more state parks will join the ranks of the 56 pet friendly parks already maintained by the DCNR. More than half of those new parks will be allowing dogs to accompany their families while they stay at cabins.
