Thieves Burn Stolen Car

State Police Troopers are investigating a torched car that was found in Crawford County’s Spring Township in the wee hours of yesterday morning. On January 23rd a vehicle that had earlier been reported stolen in Erie County was found lit on fire after it was stuck in a ditch in the area of Millgrove and Hilltop Roads; authorities believe the car was set alight after thieves failed to get the vehicle unstuck. Three Charged with Crimes after Snack Brawl 2020

Unauthorized snacking lead three people to fisticuffs near the city of Clarion. An argument about cookies and potato chips lead to a physical altercation between two males and a female that was loud enough to disturb the neighbors into calling for the police. All three combatants have been cited with harassment.

 

PA House Speaker to Retire

In State News, Pennsylvania’s Speaker of the House has declared he will not seek re-election in 2020. State Representative Mike Turzai has served in the General Assembly for nearly 20 years after being selected by special election in 2001 and has been speaker of the house since 2015. Turzi said in his announcement that it was time to pass the torch to someone else.
