Semi Overturns on I-90

A 57 year old Wappapello Missouri man was injured when his tractor trailer rolled onto its passenger side on Interstate 90. Crash scene investigators from the Erie State Police say Michael Eakin was travelling eastward near mile marker 33 when he struck a guide rail on the south side of the highway and into a drainage ditch where his rig rolled rolled over. Eakin was taken to UPMC Hamot for injuries.

 

Tomahawk Stolen from Trading Post

In Warren County authorities are investigating the theft of a decorative Tomahawk from a store in Pine Grove Township. The Tomahawk has a steel blade and a wooden handle with a brass top and bone end cap, the handle is decorated with a pewter colored snake. Anyone with information is asked to please call the Warren State Police at (814)728-3600.

 

PA Commission for Women Seeks Female Veterans

The Pennsylvania Commission for Women is asking for nominations of women to receive special honors for Women Veteran’s Day. You can nominate any woman from Pennsylvania who served in the military at governor.pa.gov/pa-women by February 1st. Women Veteran’s Day has been celebrated every year in Pennsylvania during Women’s History Month since 2015.
