Man Killed in Flaming Crash

21 year old Bela Jobb of Strattanville was killed in a flaming car accident on Route 66 in Clarion County late on Friday night. According to crash scene investigators tire tracks show Bela abruptly swerving off of the right side of the road in Porter Township, setting off a series of events that ended with his car overturned and on fire. He was not wearing a seatbelt.

 

Burning Truck Closes I79

A stretch of Interstate 79 Northbound was closed in Crawford County as three fire crews battled the flames of a burning propane truck early Friday morning. It was barely after 6AM when Vernon Central, Greenwood, and Hayfield Township fire departments were summoned to fight the blaze for about an hour and a half near mile marker 147. The entire northbound lane of the interstate was closed between the Geneva and Meadville exits.

 

Explosion in Philadelphia

In Philadelphia two people are believed dead, one is missing and dozens of others had to be evacuated, after an explosion resulted in the collapse of three homes on Thursday. An investigation into the cause is still underway but authorities suspect it was related to a gas leak.
