Three Car Crash Injures Two Men

Two people were injured in a three car collision on Pittsburgh Road in Venango County. Authorities say that 45 year old Thomas Green was travelling through Sandycreek Township and made a left turn while his view was obscured by another motorist and collided with 62 year old Norman Nilsson, who in turn collided with 32 year old Candice Advent who was waiting at a stop sign. Green and Nilsson were both taken to UMPC Northwest for injuries.

 

Superloaded Convoy Still Crawling Through Erie County

The superloaded convoy from Erie to Lock Haven is still winding its way through Erie County today. Drivers should be alert for the convoy, which is accompanied by flaggers and state troopers and only travelling during daylight hours; it won’t exceed speeds of 15 miles per hour. It will make its way through Erie County and into Crawford County over the weekend.

 

Johnson-Harrel Resigns, to Plea Guilty to Crimes

Movita Johnson-Harrel, the State Representative charged with theft from her own non-profit organization has resigned from the state government. It’s also been revealed that she has agreed to plead guilty when she comes to trial. Johnson-Harrel used more than $500,000 in MECA money for personal expenses.
