80 Year old Man Injured in Crash
80 year old Richard Crumley of Titusville suffered unknown injuries during a rollover crash in Crawford County’s Troy Township. Investigators say he traveled off the right side of the roadway and drove through a ditch, overturning his Toyota Corolla when he collided with a culvert. He was taken to Titusville Hospital by Townville Ambulance Service.
State Police on DUI Enforcement
To combat the problem of impaired driving, the Pennsylvania State Police will be conducting sobriety checkpoints and roving DUI patrols for the remainder of the month of November. Troopers urge you not to drive after drinking or while under the influence of prescription medications with warnings about operating a motor vehicle; for your own safety, and the safety of others.
PA Senate Approves $2.25 Min. Wage Increase
By a vote of 42 to 7, the Pennsylvania State Senate approved a minimum wage increase of $2.25 by 2022. This new proposed minimum wage of $9.50 an hour would be around $20,000 a year for a full time employee and is the result of a compromise between Governor Tom Wolf and the State Senate. The State House still needs to approve the minimum wage increase.
Help Solve a Crime
In Rouseville, State Troopers from Franklin are investigating the burglary of a home on Locust Street where on Sunday one or more individuals entered through the back door of a residence and vandalized the inside. Anyone with information is urged to call the Franklin State Police at (814)676-6596.
In Crawford County, just outside of Titusville in Troy Township on Newton Town Road, a Husqvarna 555 chainsaw was stolen sometime between 1PM on Monday and 1PM on Tuesday. The Corry State Police are looking for help and can be reached at (814)663-2043.
During the weekend of November 8th to 10th U.S passports, birth certificates, vehicle titles, a Dell brand electronic tablet, and about $200 in coins were taken from a safe in a home on Stoney Lonesome Road in Clarion County’s Monroe Township.
