Fire Injures 59 Year Old with Severe Burns

In Clarion County Authorities are investigating the cause of a fire that critically injured a 59 year old man in the town of Knox. On November 14th, which was last Thursday, a fire started in the first floor kitchen of a three story apartment building and vented upward to engulf the third floor in flames. The third floor resident was rescued by volunteer firefighters but only after receiving severe burns.

 

PennDOT Holding Meeting in Warren County

On Tuesday night PennDOT is holding a public meeting to discuss the destruction and replacement of Miles Run Road Bridge in Warren County. The meeting is scheduled for 7:30PM at the Pittsfield Township Building on Davey Hill Road. 

 

State News: Teacher Recorded Threatening Students

A Middle School Teacher in Harrisburg has been suspended from his job after allegedly making threats against his students. The unidentified teacher was reportedly recorded by a student while saying he wished he could shoot one student per year so the others would know he was serious. Police have been notified of the threat.
