No Injuries in Ravine Crash

Amazingly nobody was injured when a car rolled down the side of a ravine in Crawford County’s Union Township Friday morning. Crash scene investigators say that Chad Beige of Meadville and his seven year old passenger were both unharmed when his Honda Crosstour slid off of Kennedy Hill Road and into a ravine, where it rolled onto its roof and collided with several trees.


The Veterans Day Mercury Transit

Today is not only Veterans Day, but the day of an uncommon celestial event. Doctor David Hurd and the rest of Edinboro University’s Planetarium Team will be observing the last Mercury Transit for the next 33 years from the parking lot of Edinboro Walmart from 7:30AM until 1PM today, and are welcoming the public to come join them. During a Mercury Transit the planet Mercury passes between the Earth and our sun and can be viewed with the proper equipment.


Winter Weather and Storms for Northwest PA

Most of our coverage area can expect heavy snow tonight and tomorrow. The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for Crawford and Erie Counties where 6 to 12 inches of snow is expected between 7PM tonight until 1PM on Wednesday afternoon. The remainder of our coverage area has a winter weather advisory for as many as 5 inches by 4PM tomorrow.
