Two Schools Cancel Classes After Threats

Two Erie area schools are closed today, citing terroristic threats made against them on social media. Robert Benjamin Wiley Community Charter School, and the Erie Rise Leadership Academy Charter School have both announced they will not be holding classes today, November 4th for the safety of students and staff. Erie area police departments are investigating the threats against the schools.

 

Knox Woman Crashed into House

Authorities in Clarion County report 58 year old Linda Hunsberger of Knox will be facing charges after she was injured during a collision with a house in Ashland Township. It’s alleged that Hunsberger failed to heed a stop sign at the intersection of State Routes 322 and 338 and ended up colliding with someone’s home.

 

Most PA Counties Reveal New Voting Machines Tomorrow

If you’re voting in the state and local elections tomorrow you may notice new voting machines in your polling place. According to Pennsylvania’s acting Secretary of State Kathy Bookvar only 12 Pennsylvania counties have not finished fully replacing their voting machines with machines that provide a verifiable paper ballot before tomorrow’s election day. Some counties, like Crawford County, have had the new machines in place since before the primaries.
