Man Uses Truck to Push Car into Oncoming Traffic

An unnamed Guys Mills man was arrested by State Police under a warrant after pushing a woman’s vehicle into traffic as she was driving. Authorities say the man, 33, drove his truck into the rear end of the victim’s car and then accelerated to push her vehicle into the opposing lane of traffic. He fled the scene afterwards.

 

Michigan Man to be Extradited to Alabama

52 year old Nicholas Arnold of Flint Michigan is being extradited to Alabama after being arrested by Pennsylvania State Troopers in Clarion County. Arnold was identified by a Trooper after providing a fake ID during a traffic stop and raising suspicions that lead to a deeper background check.

 

Shapiro Secures $48 Billion for Opioid Crisis

On Monday, Pennsylvania’s Attorney General, Josh Shapiro, along with attorneys general from Tennessee, North Carolina, and Texas, secured a $48 billion settlement with five drug companies identified as profiteers in the opioid crisis. The deal which was finalized with Cardinal Health, McKesson, AmerisourceBergen, Johnson & Johnson, and Teva, includes $22 Billion in fines and reparations and a commitment to provide $26 Billion worth of the addiction treatment drug suboxone to rehab and drug clinics for free.
