17 Year Old Tried as Adult in Gun Theft Case
Authorities in Warren County have decided to try 17 year old Dasai Bradberry as an adult after his arrest for the theft of 32 firearms from a sporting goods store in Columbus in mid September. Bradberry was recently transported Warren County jail where he was arraigned on 100 charges including 66 felonies. Judge Gregory Hammond set Bradberry’s bail at $100,000.
LGBTQ Groups Call for Protection Laws in PA
While on the national stage SCOTUS is deliberating whether sexual orientation is a protected class under the Civil Rights Act, advocacy groups are pushing for protections in Pennsylvania. The Pennsylvania Commission on LGBTQ Affairs has called on lawmakers to take action on two bills already introduced in the State’s House and Senate that would protect LGBTQ individuals from discrimination in employment, housing and public accommodation.
