Utica Man Charged in Road Rage Incident

57 year old Tracy Laufer of Utica is facing multiple criminal charges from what Venango County authorities are calling a road rage incident on September 11th. It’s being alleged that Laufer deliberately crashed his vehicle into another because its driver was moving too slowly. It’s said he then exited his vehicle and began punching and striking the other driver in the head and face. Charges include aggravated assault, simple assault, criminal mischief, reckless endangerment, violating a no passing zone, and reckless driving.

 

DUI Driver Rolls Car off Embankment

In Clarion County’s Redbank Township a man named Jason Hollobaugh was charged with DUI after driving off an embankment. It’s said Hollobaugh was drunk when he tried to turn onto Macadam Road from State Route 28 and drove into a field. He drove back onto the road from the field and then straight over an embankment where his car rolled onto its driver’s side.

Woman Collides Car with House

A 57 year old Conneautville Woman is facing more than DUI charges after colliding with a mailbox, utility pole, fence, and finally a house. Deborah Perrye was traveling north on Cussawago Road in Vernon Township, Crawford County late Saturday night when she veered off the road and drove through a yard, colliding with obstacles the whole way. Police officers on the scene described a very strong smell of alcohol.

 

Senior Expo in Gerard

This Thursday, October the 3rd from 10AM to 12:30PM State Representative Parke Wentling will be hosting his 5th Annual Senior Expo at St. John the Evangelist Parish Center in Girard. Over 70 vendors for services directed toward senior citizens will be on hand, and basic healthcare services such as blood glucose tests and flu vaccines will be available. Special Election Date Set for Seat Vacated by State Senator

A special election for the Pennsylvania State Senate seat that was vacated by Mike Folmer has been set for January 14th of next year. Folmer resigned as Senator for Lebanon, York, and Dauphin Counties after his arrest for possessing child pornography.
