Incident at Rocky Grove High School

A Rocky Grove High School student has been charged with aggravated and simple assault, terroristic threats, and disorderly conduct from an incident at school yesterday. The accused is only identified by authorities as a Rocky Grove student and was taken to a juvenile detention facility by Sugarcreek PD after allegedly threatening the school’s students and staff yesterday. There are no further details.


Flasher Sought by Police

The State Police are looking for a man who exposed himself to three women who were walking along Canadohta Lake Road in Sparta Township, Crawford County on Monday. The man is described as in his mid thirties with a large build and dark hair. He was wearing a red t-shirt and driving a blue sedan during the incident. Governor Wolf Calls for Marijuana Decriminalization

Pennsylvania’s Governor, Tom Wolf, is asking the General Assembly to pass legislation decriminalizing marijuana possession and expunging the records of people convicted of related crimes. The Governor’s decision comes after the results of a statewide listening tour by the Lt. Governor demonstrated Pennsylvanian’s generally support such a measure.

The Pennsylvania State Police are investigating the September 8th theft of cash money and a bottle of the prescription drug ritalin from a home on Highway 89 in Rome Township, Crawford County. If you have information please call Trooper Hodack of the Corry Police Barracks at (814)663-2043.

In Venango County troopers are investigating the theft of equipment from an oil well located on Rouseville Road in Cornplanter Township. Between mid August and mid September a power system was stolen, the unit is made of cast iron and about 7 feet long, 7 feet wide, and 5 feet tall. Call (814)676-6596 if you have information.

Between August 26th and 27th in Clarion County’s Paint Township multiple electronics including a dashboard camera, GPS system, and Quad 5 CB Radio were stolen from a semi truck parked in a truck lot behind a gas station on Route 66.
