Dozens of Guns Stolen in Erie County

It’s been reported by authorities in Erie County that at some point on Friday night a sports store located just outside of Corry on Route 6 was the scene of a break in and 25 handguns were taken from a display case. Pittsburgh Gifted 9/11 Survivor Tree Seedlings

The city of Pittsburgh will be a recipient of a seedling from the 9/11 Survivor Tree. The 9/11 Survivor Tree was pulled intact from the wreckage of the terror attack 18 years ago and survives today as a symbol of hope and healing. Seedlings from the tree are being sent to Pittsburgh to be planted to honor the victims of the Tree of Life Synagogue shooting last year. Las Vegas where 58 people were killed and hundreds injured by a mass shooter in 2017, and Greece where wildfires killed over 100 people are also recipients.


PennDOT District 1 Maintenance Schedules Published

Part of PennDOT’s District 1 maintenance schedule includes daytime closures on a section of District Road for a pipe replacement project in Mercer County.
