Man Holds Gun to Woman’s Head

Kevin Fulmer of Parker is facing charges of assault with a deadly weapon and has been lodged in Clarion County Jail. Police allege that Fulmer held the muzzle of a rifle to the head of a 28 year old woman on Monday night. As yet there are no further details of the incident.

 

Edinboro Joins eSports League

Edinboro University will be holding a ribbon cutting ceremony to launch its newest intercollegiate competition – online video games, or eSports. The school is hoping to use eSports competitions as a way to attract more students to its nationally top 25 ranked video game design courses. On Monday the 16th in Hamilton Hall at 10AM the new eSports complex will be introduced during the ribbon cutting and the University will field a team for competition in the National Association of Collegiate eSports (NAC eSports) this fall.

 

Pennsylvania Suing Owners of Purdue Pharma

Pennsylvania’s Attorney General Josh Shapiro has doubled down and is now filing a lawsuit against the Stackler family that owns Perdue Pharmaceuticals. Pennsylvania was one of many states to file suit against Perdue alleging a multifaceted and illegal effort to push drugs that created the opioid crisis in May, but this new lawsuit targets the company’s owners directly; with the Attorney General stating that they refuse to take any ownership of their share of the responsibility for taking the lives of 12 Pennsylvanian’s a day.
