OD Patient Found with Illegal Firearm

A 27 year old Saegertown man is facing criminal charges after a September 7th drug overdose. The unidentified male was rushed on that day to Meadville Medical Center for overdose treatment and was found to be in possession of a handgun with the serial number removed. The man is facing charges for the weapon and may face further drug charges.

Shapiro: Terminix Must Pay Back Customers

In State News Pennsylvania’s Attorney General, Josh Shapiro, has announced a settlement with Terminix for procedurally violating state laws about financial contracts with their customers. Hundreds of customers were overcharged thousands of dollars as Terminix encouraged them to sign digital contracts without providing them a copy to review. Pennsylvania law stipulates that customers must be provided with a copy of a service contract before signing, but Terminix was encouraging customers to sign a digital contract without a review, leading to hundreds of customers being overcharged by thousands of dollars.

A Tenpoint brand crossbow valued at $750 was stolen from a locked camp on Ritts Station Road in Clarion County’s Beaver Township. The Clarion State Police urge anyone with information to call them at (814)226-1710.
