Man Charged with DUI After ATV Crash

29 year old Kasey Haines of Sligo is suspected of being DUI during an accident when he and another man were seriously injured on an ATV. Haines was operating a 4-wheeler and collided head on with a jeep wrangler on Bug Road in Clarion County’s Monroe Township in late August.

 

Authorities Search for Second Man in August Theft

A 16 year old from Meadville was arrested for theft while another male is being sought by police. On Tuesday August the 27th the teen and another male were seen stealing property from a salvage company on Tryonville Road near Centerville in Crawford County. As police were arriving one of them damaged two vehicles on the property during an attempt to drive away and both suspects ran into the woods. Auditor General Says Millions of Dollars Unavailable to VFDs

Eugene Depasquale, Pennsylvania’s Auditor General, says that more than $59 million dollars are tied up in volunteer firefighters’ relief associations that can’t be touched by fire companies. He has called for lawmakers to make the grant money easier to access.
