Corry Woman Threatens Three Men with Pistol

Miranda Gridley of Corry is charged with harassment, aggravated assault, and other crimes after threatening a man with a pistol in his home. According to authorities she is accused of making threatening comments toward the resident of a home in Crawford County’s Rome Township and two other men while brandishing the weapon. It’s said she fired several shots as the three fled the building.

 

Head on Collision Injures Woman

A 55 year old woman was injured in a head on collision in Paint Township, Clarion County. Shortly before 9AM on Sunday August 18th investigators say 22 year old Donald Johnson was traveling north on North Paint Boulevard when he drifted into the opposing lane and collided with Mona Ruffner of Templeton. Mona refused transport to a hospital and Johnson has been charged for driving with a suspended or revoked license.

 

Big I to Open as One Lane Tonight

PennDOT is expecting to lift the closure on portions of Route 98 that were closed for construction of the Big I roundabout in Crawford County by the end of the workday today. Once the road is reopened temporary signals used to control traffic will be disabled and motorists will begin using the intersection as a single lane roundabout.
