Crash Kills Conneautville Man

A Conneautville man was killed in a car crash in the town of Linesville Monday night. 47 year old Paul Alan Patterson was traveling southward into town along Linesville Road when he lost control of his vehicle; a series of overcorrections lead to a collision with an embankment that sent his vehicle airborne and it landed on its roof in a driveway after colliding with another embankment. Patterson was pronounced dead at the scene.

 

State Troopers Seek Assault Witnesses

State Police are seeking witnesses to an assault in the Crawford County Borough of Townville. On the 28th of July around 7AM two individuals climbed out of a Toyota Tundra, and physically attacked a Guys Mills resident on the corner of South Main and East Freemont Streets, then fled the scene by driving down East Freemont Street. Lawmaker Seeks to End Property Taxes

Claiming property taxes are not a viable way to pay for education within the next 12 years, Pennsylvania State Representative Frank Ryan introduced a bill to eliminate property taxes across Pennsylvania and raise the funds for public schools by other means.
