Franklin Man Arrested After Calling Police

When 36 year old Christopher Coxson called emergency services to report that he was being followed around by five threatening men in Franklin, police responded to a home on Aspen Drive to protect him. While there, officers found no threats to Coxson but they did find a man strung out on drugs and possessing drug paraphernalia. He was arrested for intoxication on methamphetamine and possession of paraphernalia.

 

Man Injured in Erie County Crash

Authorities report Isaac Schuler of Corry was transported to Corry hospital after crashing his Kia Soul into some mailboxes and rolling it. Schuler was allegedly traveling too fast on Stewart Road in Concord Township, Erie County, when he lost control and caused the crash.

 

Natural Gas Prices Decrease

National Fuel
National Fuel announced a decrease in the price of natural gas for the third quarter of 2019. The price markdown of 8.24% should decrease the monthly costs of a typical customer by about $6.15 each month by lowering the average bill from $74.61 to $68.46. Remember to call 811 10 business days before you do any digging or excavating on your property, Pennsylvania law requires landowners to call in order to have underground utilities marked to avoid damage and injury.

 

Police Investigations Need Help

The State Police are investigating the theft of a white 2008 Subaru Legacy from a place known as Deadman’s Run in Warren County. The car has a PA license plate JRX3531 and a yellow bumper sticker that says MVB. If you have seen this vehicle call the Corry Barracks at (814)663-2043.

In Clarion County the theft of a Cub Cadet Lawn Mower from the home of 68 year old Patricia Myers of Sligo is under investigation. It was taken between 3PM and 5:30PM on July 13th. Call (814)226-1710 if you can help.
