State Police Seek Information on Burglary

Crawford County authorities are investigating a Tuesday evening burglary on Irish Road in Vernon Township. Between 7:30PM and 10:00PM on the night of the 25th one or more unknown individuals entered the residence of Paula and James Sherwood and removed jewelry, firearms, a digital camera, and other items. If you have noticed suspicious activity in the area of Irish Road or may have information about the burglary call the State Police in Meadville at (814)332-6911.

 

Depasquale Signals Congressional Bid

One of the top elected officials in Pennsylvania has signaled his intent to run for Congress. Auditor General Eugene Depasquale is serving his second term as the commonwealth’s top financial watchdog and cannot run for a third term. He will be making an official announcement declaring his candidacy for PA10 in July.

 

PA Senate Approves 2019-2020 Budget

Pennsylvania’s Senate has approved the FY 2019-2020 budget by a vote of 42 to 8 and the bill is now in the hands of Governor Tom Wolf who has only three days to make a decision before July 1st.
