Insurance Committee Approves State Exchange

Radio PA
Pennsylvania’s House Insurance Committee gave its approval for legislation to create a state run insurance exchange. An advantage of the state run exchange according to House majority Leader Bryan Cutler would be a decrease of 5% to 10% in premiums. Running its own exchange separate of the Federal one would also save the state money. 12 other states have their own exchanges already.
