Canadian Man Arrested for Reckless Endangerment

A 30 year old man from Surrey, British Columbia is in police custody and faces charges of Reckless Endangerment and Criminal Mischief. According to authorities in Clarion County the unnamed man intentionally struck another vehicle while he was driving along Interstate 80 East.


Health Department Urges People to Vaccinate

Measles was once all but eliminated in the United States but now people are facing outbreaks in New York and Washington, Pennsylvania’s Secretary of Health Dr. Rachel Levine is urging residents to make sure their vaccinations are up to date. Dr. Levine says its important for both adults and children to be up to date on vaccines and to make sure they have a full course of vaccinations for diseases like Measles.


Interdepartmental Law Enforcement Hiring Bill Introduced

State Representative Summer Lee has introduced a bill to reform the hiring and firing process of police agencies in the commonwealth. The bill would require law enforcement agencies to keep detailed records of complaints against police officers and about why they left a job. The idea is it will create a reference for other police departments when they hire experienced officers.
