Teen Injured in Rollover Crash

PSP Meadville
Authorities in Crawford County report that a 16 year old male who was driving alone was taken to Meadville Medical Center after calling State Police to report an accident. Troopers arrived on the scene to find a Hyundai SUV rolled onto its passenger side in the east lane of Shaffer Road in Randolph Township. The crash is being investigated.

 

F&M Poll Indicates Major Support for Minimum Wage Hike

Franklin and Marshall College continues to conduct polls on major issues in Pennsylvania and their most recent poll shows overwhelming support for an increase in the minimum wage. According to the pollsters 69% of respondents signaled either strong or some support for Governor Tom Wolf’s $12 minimum wage proposal.

 

Redistricting Commission Begins Public Meetings

Pennsylvania’s Redistricting Reform Commission holds its first public meeting today in the city of Williamsport. The Commission was formed last year by Governor Tom Wolf to investigate redistricting procedures in the commonwealth. The Commission plans on holding nine public meetings including ones in Erie and Pittsburgh.
