Drug Raid in Crawford County Goes Without Hitch

A PA State Police Vice Unit executed a raid on a Jamestown, Crawford County home at 9AM yesterday morning. Samuel Sabruno and his partner Tiffiny Fletcher were arrested without incident and police say they discovered an unregistered firearm as well as suspected heroin, methamphetamine, and marijuana. Both arrestees were remitted to Crawford County Jail and charged with endangering the welfare of children and possession with intent to sell.

 

No Injuries in Bus Crash

No injuries were reported when an SUV collided with a school bus in Warren County. The SUV’s driver lost traction on a turn on Route 6 in Columbus Township and hit the driver’s side rear of the bus. The 69 year old bus driver was taken to a nearby hospital as a precaution.

 

Budget Work Continues as First Round of Hearing’s Ends

The first round of hearings for the 2019-2020 Pennsylvania Budget have Concluded and the Chairman of House Appropriations Stan Saylor was unimpressed with the governor’s proposals. Saylor, Republican from York County called the budget “…long on aspirations but short on details.” He called the proposals a starting point and remarked he looks forward to crafting a finalized budget with the administration.
