Vernon Police Seek Help In Search of Hit and Run Vehicle

Police in Crawford County’s Vernon Township are searching for a vehicle involved in a hit and run; the driver continued traveling after hitting a pedestrian. Around 5:45 on Tuesday morning the victim reports a black four door sedan with a missing passenger side mirror struck them while they were walking along Roger’s Ferry Road, but they were unable to provide a better description or a license number. Expansion to Sunday Hunting Discussed in Harrisburg

In the State’s capitol debate over sunday hunting is making headlines. In Pennsylvania only fox, crow, and coyote are legal to hunt on Sundays and The Pennsylvania Game Commission is to looking to expand this to other animals but they are opposed by the Farm Bureau and Trails Association. State Senator Dan Laughlin of Erie held an online poll that shows wide support for expanded Sunday hunting in our area.
