Car Collides with Buggy, Nobody Harmed

No injuries reported after a collision between a car and an occupied horse and buggy near Spartansburg. A report from the Pennsylvania State Police based in Corry says 44 year old Ray Shaffer of Titusville was traveling south along Route 77 when his car slid into the back of a buggy containing Joseph Byler of Spartansburg and Freeman Miller of Corry.


Governor Creates Redistricting Commission

Citing a lack of action by the Pennsylvania State Senate, Governor Tom Wolf signed an executive order creating a 15 member commission on redistricting reform. The commission has been given 9 months to come up with policy recommendations to reform the way the Commonwealth handles drawing congressional districts by examining how other states handle the task and measuring the attitudes on Pennsylvania residents.


Three Men Arrested For Philadelphia Slayings

Three arrests were made in relation to an execution style quadruple homicide in Philadelphia. The three men are in custody following the execution style deaths of two men and two women earlier this month in what is believed to be a drug related crime.
