Less Snowfall than Called for but Weather Still Causes Accidents

While most of us got much less snow than called for icy and snowy road conditions have caused a few accidents in the area. In one of those accidents Baylee Large of Oil City was transported by ambulance to a UPMC hospital after her vehicle overturned along highway 8 in Venango County’s Victory Township. In Crawford County Eric Kerns of Hadley was injured when he struck a guardrail along Route 19 in Vernon Township.

 

Woman Faces Charges for Leaving Unreported Car Accident

Victoria Letrant of Corry faces multiple summary traffic violations after allegedly leaving the scene of an accident on Spartansburg Highway in Concord Township, Erie County. She lost control of her PT Cruiser and hit a tree after rolling down an embankment. According to State Police her crashed vehicle was discovered at around 3:30 Sunday morning but she had not reported the crash.

 

Former AG Head to Jail Tomorrow

A Montgomery County Judge has ordered that former Pennsylvania Attorney General Kathleen Kane report to jail by 9am Thursday morning. On Monday the State Supreme Court refused to hear an appeal to her 2016 perjury conviction.
