Thanksgiving Weekend Burglary Investigation Underway

Pennsylvania State Troopers from Meadville are investigating the burglary of the home of a West Mead couple while they were away for Thanksgiving. Sometime between Wednesday November 21st and Saturday the 25th an unknown actor or actors forced their way through a back door of the home at 9776 Liberty Street Extension and stole cash money from inside. Anyone who might have information is being asked to please call the Meadville State Police at (814)332-6911.


Bucks County Senate Race Appeal Denied in Court

A lawsuit filed over a Pennsylvania State Senate race in Bucks County has been thrown out by a judge. Republican Incumbent Robert Thomlinson lead the Senate race by less than 75 votes and his opponent Tina Davis filed a motion to have over 200 late absentee ballots counted. The Davis campaign has yet to announce whether they will appeal the decision.


Kane Appeal Denied, Jail Inevitable

Former Pennsylvania Attorney General Kathleen Kane will be heading to jail to serve a 10 to 23 month sentence after the State Supreme Court refused to hear an appeal on her case. Kane was convicted of Felony Perjury and several related misdemeanors in 2016 and has been free on bail since her sentencing. Prosecutors have filed a motion to revoke that bail now that her case is resolved.
