Forger Sought by Franklin State Police

State Police are seeking a man suspected of passing counterfeit money at businesses in the Seneca and Cranberry area on Tuesday the 23rd. The suspect is described as a black male in his mid twenties and was wearing a pink Nike ballcap, a black jacket, and grey sweatpants. If you have information call the Franklin State Police at (814)676-6596 and refer to incident number 1227833.


Toilet Paper Clogs Interstate Traffic

Early Wednesday morning a portion of I-79 North in Crawford County was closed due to toilet paper in the road. At around 2:30 in the morning Andrew Hurst of Erie was traveling along the interstate in his tractor-trailer when he accidentally clipped the trailer of another semi truck parked on the shoulder and spilled several pallets from its load of toilet paper into the right lane of the interstate.


PA Governor Signs Three New Laws

In State News Governor Tom Wolf signed three new laws. One law protects law enforcement officers and first responders from civil liability if they break a car window to protect a trapped animal, another grants immunity from certain crimes for sex trafficking victims, and the third increases the penalties for vehicular homicide for those with prior DUI convictions.
