Overturned Dumper Blocks Saegertown Traffic

PSP Meadville
Peters Road in Saegertown was closed for about two and a half hours yesterday after a dump truck turned onto its side in a traffic accident. At around 5:20 a Mack Superliner left the road while traveling east, the truck continued along the ditch for the length of a football field and then spun 90 degrees and rolled onto its passenger side in the middle of the road. Driver Joshua Yoos was taken to Meadville Medical Center for unknown injuries as Dave’s Towing assisted with removing the truck from the scene.

US DOJ Subpoenas PA Catholic Diocese

Radio PA
The United States Department of Justice has taken the first steps in a new Federal investigation into decades of alleged sexual abuse by Clergy of the Roman Catholic Church in Pennsylvania. The DOJ issued subpoenas to the six Pennsylvania diocese from the now infamous report released by Attorney General Josh Shapiro after a grand jury investigation. With the majority of crimes from that list now beyond the statute of limitations one theory about the DOJ probe is that federal agents may be trying to create a RICO case under federal racketeering laws.
