New Bethlehem Crash Injures 14 Year Old

Two injuries are reported after a crash in Porter Township Clarion County. It’s being reported that Farrah Corle of New Bethlehem was injured when she collided with the rear end of a car being driven by Michael Schreckengost as he tried to pull into his driveway.  A 14 year old girl also received minor injuries in the crash.

 

Senior Expo in Girard 10/4

State Representative Parke Wentling will be holding a senior expo from 10am until 12:30pm at Saint John the Evangelist Parish Center in Girard on October 4th. More than 70 presenters will be there and vaccines for the flu, pneumonia, and shingles will also be on offer. This year will feature a series of 20 minute mini educational seminars covering nutrition, CPR, Medicare, and how seniors can protect themselves from identity theft.

 

Cosby Sentenced to 3-10 Years

In State News, Montgomery County Judge Steven O’Neill sentenced Bill Cosby to a 3-10 year sentence to be served immediately in a state prison. Additionally the judge ordered that Cosby be added to the roles as a sexually violent predator. A plea for bail while attorney’s filed an appeal was rejected.
