Wanted: Brian Ditzenberger

The Franklin State Police have issued an arrest warrant for 45 year old Brian Ditzenberger of Cooperstown. Ditzenberger is wanted on charges related to an assault with serious bodily injury stemming from two separate incidents with his fiance this week. He has also threatened to kill his victim by shooting her in the head. Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Brian Ditzenberger should call the Franklin State Police at (814)676-6596.

The University of Pittsburgh in Titusville is proud to present a free performance by Carlos Andres Gomez. Carlos Gomez is a spoken word poet famous for his time on Def Comedy Jam and in the Spike Lee Film Inside Man. He will be performing at the Student Union on Tuesday September 25th at 7pm as part of Pitt-Titusville’s Hispanic Heritage Celebration.


Investment Funds May Have Charged Billions in Hidden Fees to Pension Plans

The fees being paid to investment firms managing PA’s public employee pension funds are under scrutiny. Officially the commonwealth has paid around $2.2 billion in fees to companies managing the funds over the last decade, but according to one Oxford University Professor of Finance public records indicate that pension plans may have been charged another $4 billion in hidden fees. Auditor General Eugene Depasquale has expressed outrage at this possibility and is planning an investigation.
