Man Arrested for DUI After Crash

Pennsylvania State Police have not released the name of a 21 year old Conneautville man who was arrested for DUI after a crash Saturday morning. Firefighters from Summit Township and Springboro advised troopers about the driver fleeing the scene at around 2am after they arrived. Troopers found him uninjured in a wooded area nearby.


Clarion State Troopers Look For Information on Hit and Run

In Clarion County State Troopers are looking for a hit and run driver that caused damage to private property in someone’s yard. In Elf Township at around 8am on Monday September 10 the unknown driver went over the left shoulder of Route 208, went through a field, struck a tree, and then through a victim’s yard before reentering the road and traveling north. Senior Citizen Hospitalized After Crash

84 year old Carl Gates of Centerville was rushed to UPMC Hamot Medical Center after rolling his car. While traveling along 408 through Crawford County’s Troy township on saturday Carl overcorrected and rolled his car into a ditch. EMS personnel had reason to suspect he had suffered internal injuries and he was airlifted by STAT Medivac.


Edinboro U. Screens Films to Promote Community Awareness

Edinboro University is screening a five part showing of the docu-series “The Trade”. Screening this docu-series is intended to start a discussion on opioids and how they are affecting our communities. The screenings begin tonight with the first episode from 7 to 9 PM at the in the Frank G. Pogue Student Center’s Multipurpose Room and are open to the public. After each showing panelists will be on hand to discuss each show’s themes and topics. Subsequent shows will be held on Tuesday September 25th, Wednesday October 3rd, Thursday October 11th, and Monday October 15th.
