Fake Contractors Steal Safe from Blooming Valley Home

A group of men stole a safe from a 90 year old couple living in Blooming Valley. On Monday the actors gained access to the home by impersonating contractors. A few of the men distracted the pair that lived inside while the others hoisted the safe and loaded it inside a tan SUV. All the thieves departed together at once heading northeast along Route 77 toward Riceville. Valuable items taken from the couple included money, vintage coins, jewelry, and important documents. The Pennsylvania State Police are investigating.


Edinboro Planetarium Celebrates 50 Years in September

Camp Cadet Gets Grant from Pittsburgh Penguins

The Pennsylvania State Police Camp Cadet program in Crawford, Warren, and Venango Counties received a $5,000 grant from the Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation which ensures it will be coming back next year. Camp Cadet is a free summer camp held annually in June where young men and women learn team building and self esteem while building relationships with law enforcement. RealID Comes to PA in March 2019

PennDOT has announced it will be releasing its first RealID compatible licenses in March of 2019. RealID is optional for Pennsylvania residents but is a requirement for anyone who wants to enter a federal building or military base or make a domestic flight after October 2020.
