Break in at Spingboro Salvation Army
On the night of Tuesday August 21st one or more people broke into the Salvation Army store in Sugarcreek and burglarized it. The actor or actors caused damage to the property and donations while inside the building on 534 Allegheny Boulevard and stole others. Man Injured on I-80 After Falling Asleep
35 year old Jevon St Louis of Danielson Connecticut was injured on Interstate 80 after falling asleep behind the wheel. Jevon was traveling west through Venango County’s Irwin Township when he nodded off. His car veered into the ditch and struck a concrete culvert which caused the vehicle to roll several times. He was not wearing a seatbelt and was transferred to Grove City Medical Center.
PennDOT Work Schedule Released

Connecticut Man Injured in Semi Truck Crash
Marlin Mareno of Connecticut was injured when a tractor trailer hit his car and a PennDOT vehicle during a collision at about 11:30 Saturday Morning. State Police say that truck driver Mahad Ahmed was following too closely while traveling west through Scrubgrass Township on Interstate 80 and eventually collided with Marlin’s car which spun and smashed into a concrete barrier. Ahmed’s truck continued west and struck a parked PennDOT vehicle.
Woman Charged with Multiple Charges Related to Animal Neglect
Diann Boyd of Jamestown is facing multiple animal cruelty charges for leaving half a dozen dogs inside a condemned structure without proper care. At about 3PM on Friday the 24th Crawford County’s Humane Officer inspected the house along the Harmonsburg Road in Summit Township after a tip from a concerned citizen, and found six neglected dogs inside. The house the dogs were being kept in was later condemned.
Erie County Shooting Makes State News
Two Erie County State Troopers are on paid administrative leave after the shooting death of Michael Orrenmaa of Conneaut Ohio. The shooting happened at around 5pm on Thursday and its investigation by the Erie County District Attorney is making state news headlines.
