Erie Woman Arrested for Assault After Attacking Boyfriend Near Meadville
Maresa Norr of Erie was taken into police custody after a long night of allegedly tormenting her aunt by fighting with her boyfriend. Norr’s aunt called 911 when she began damaging property and tried to stab her boyfriend Jason Snow with a knife. Jason told officers that she had smashed two laptop computers, he had a cut on his hand from her attempt to stab him.
DUI Charges for Man Who Hit Utility Pole
A 23 year old Spartansburg man whose name was not revealed by Corry State Police was charged with DUI after a traffic accident on Route 77. The man was trapped in his Oldsmobile Alero after striking a telephone pole and was rescued by Spartansburg Volunteer Fire Department

A report on income by the Economic Policy Institute and Keystone Research Center ranks Pennsylvania as one of the top states for income inequality. The report ranked the state as 14th overall with the richest 1% of Pennsylvanians earning 26 times as much as the average worker. 46% of all Pennsylvania’s money is split among the highest earners who make at least $388,000 a year and average more than $1,000,000.
Boy, 16, Injured in Motorcycle Crash
A 16 year old teenage boy was rushed to UPMC Hamot by Stat Medivac yesterday afternoon after a motorcycle accident in Crawford County’s East Fallowfield Township. He was riding a Kawasaki KX125 and traveling west down Atlantic Road when he lost control and landed on the roadway; he was not wearing a helmet during the accident.
Manhunt Still Underway for Murder Suspect
Pennsylvania State Police and other agencies are still searching for Kenneth Edwin Martell who is wanted for the murder of Theodore Garver. Martell is a white male, 36 years old, with brown hair styled in a buzz cut and grey/blue eyes. If you encounter this man call the State Police in Meadville at (814)332-6911.
Uber Renews Testing of Self Driving Cars in Pennsylvania
Uber is once again testing self driving cars in the Pittsburgh Area. Pennsylvania is currently the only State where the company is testing autonomous vehicles after a fatal accident 4 months ago in Arizona. Pittsburgh is home to the majority of Uber’s research facilities and its test track. The road test vehicles are now manned by two trained drivers and one has their hands on the wheel at all times.
