Man Wanted for Murder in Springboro is Still At Large

Kenneth Edwin Martell of Springboro is a 36 year old white male with brown hair and grey/blue eyes. Martell is the wanted suspect in the Monday night murder of an elderly Springboro man named Theodore Garver. State Police believe that Kenneth Martell planned on robbing his victim but ended up killing him sometime between 10:30PM Monday night and 7AM Tuesday morning; he forced three others to help him hide the body. Martell is still at large and anyone who encounters him should call the State Police in Meadville at (814)332-6911.

Pennsylvania State Representative Florindo Fabrizio died yesterday at the age of 73 after losing a year long battle with pancreatic cancer. Florindo, who was affectionately known as ‘Flo’, had served 16 years in the General Assembly as a State Representative for Erie. Most recently he served as the minority chair of the House Health Committee and continued to do his duty in Harrisburg despite being seriously ill. Representative Fabrizio is survived by his wife Victoria, his daughter Jill, and his two sons Anthony and Matthew.

State Police Investigate Stolen Materials from Construction Site

The State Police Corry Patrol Unit is looking for leads in the theft of property belonging to PennDOT. On the week of July the 12th to 19th several road closed signs, traffic cones, and sign stands were stolen from a worksite on Wright Road in Crawford County’s Rome Township. Please call (814)663-2043 if you have information that can help.

Antwon Rose Shooter Waives Hearing

East Pittsburgh Police Officer Michael Rossfeld waived his preliminary hearing in the shooting death of 17 year old Antwon Rose yesterday. Rossfeld will be arraigned on charges of criminal homicide next month on the 22nd after his attorney stated they could not raise an affirmative defense to justify the shooting.
